Parwinder is an award-winning scientist, passionate leader, inspiring pioneer and positive role model with 15+ years of initiating and delivering research outcomes in biotechnology. Her major experience lies in leading cross-disciplinary applied biotechnology research for innovation, research translation – both as an academic and entrepreneur.
Stockley Davis
Director and Co-Founder
Stockley is an experienced investor and corporate adviser, having spent 20+ years as Corporate Manager, securities trader and investment advisor at Alto Capital.
Pia Turcinov
Director
Pia has more than 25 year’s experience in legal services, management consulting and innovation, working with a wide range of large and small companies providing commercial, strategic and commercialisation advice.
Rob Shannon
Director
Rob works in leadership roles to build strategic partnerships with industry to create and release the value of innovations. He is skilled at strategy, business development, marketing, supply chain, procurement and commercialisation.
Dr Sharmin Rahman
Research Officer
Sharmin is working as a research officer with Ex Planta team at UWA. She is a professional in the field of biotechnology with an academic background in Agricultural science. She has a Ph.D. in biotechnology with expertise in molecular biology, entomology and genetics. Sharmin has over 5 years of research experience as a scientific officer in Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) and experience working on wheat genetic improvement on sodic soils at DPIRD, WA.
Moon Sajid
PhD Candidate, UWA
Moon is a Ph.D. student with Ex Planta team at UWA. His PhD research focusses on bioengineering genetic potential of micro-organisms for establishing novel natural product pathways. He has a MSc degree in microbiology where he worked on the isolation, identification and characterization of new microbial strains that can promote plant growth and development under drought.
